Radius Fulton Rest Home Demo

On June 27, ten of our members performed a demo at the Radius Fulton rest home in Hillside Road. A large number of residents watched the display and seemed to enjoy it a great deal.  A couple of them even joined in, with one resident dancing well with Dave.

The venue was warm, and the sun was streaming in through large, nearby windows. After a couple of songs (most of the songs were fast ones) many of us were getting flushed in the heat.  We completed the 20 minute set, and the residents and staff were very appreciative.  Our host particularly commented on the rock n roll outfits (...yeah, it was pretty much just the women's outfits).

We decided we had earnt a cup of coffee but, by the time we got to the Rope and Twine, many were ready for a beer instead. As is usual after a Demo, the after-match function became a clamour of happy conversation.
